Active ImageThe Tigers beat the then number one team in the nation Oklahoma Sooners last week in a game where they reached their best start in over 50 years with a 7-0 mark so far in the season. "There will be some more distractions since we won that game. We expected that," defensive back Carl Gettis said. "It was a good win, but it's over with now. It's time to move on and get ready for Nebraska."

The great part of this Missouri win is that the Tigers achieved a season-high 486 yards with 308 of them coming by way of air from quarterback Blaine Gabbert. So far this season he has thrown for over 300 yards only three times but more impressive is that he hasn´t thrown a pick in three straight games. Last season Missouri lost to Nebraska 27-12 and Gabbert threw two interceptions. The main difference is that Ndamukong Suh is no longer playing for the Cornhuskers, so he will have a little more time to throw the ball down the field.

On the other side the Cornhuskers will try to keep the Tigers from running the ball as they have been doing so well the whole year. But last week they showed the nation they can throw the ball as QB Taylor Martinez recorded 323 yards after topping 140 just once in his first six games of the season. If Martinez maintains his double menace status he will gain some Heisman Trophy buzz at some point in the year.

Keep in mind Missouri has won 10 of 13 away games, including a 52-17 rout of Nebraska in 2008. Nebraska is 11-4 SU in its last 15 games when playing Missouri.
